Q: What kind of clothing and equipment do I need?

A: Dress with warm layers and water resistant outer layers, gloves and winter boots. We supply full face helmets. Dress as if you were going skiing or snowboarding.

 

Q: Do I need a parking permit?

A: Yes, All Oregon Sno-Parks require a daily parking permit. We have daily permits available for $5.00 at our field office.

 

Q: What brand snowmobiles do you run?

A: Our snowmobiles are Ski-Doo 550cc Summits and Expeditions.

 

Q: Do you rent sleds, or can we bring our own sleds?

A: We do not rent snowmobiles. We provide guided tours on our own machines.

 

Q: What do we do for food?

A: Please bring your own lunches and snacks, we have storage space on the sleds to carry your food.

 

Q: What is required to drive a snowmobile?

A: BY STATE LAW: ALL DRIVERS MUST BE AGE 16+ AND CARRY A VALID DRIVERS LICENSE WHILE ON THE TRAILS.

 

Q: I have no previous snowmobiling experience; will I find it to be difficult?

A: Most of our guests have no prior experience. A complete safety orientation and instruction is provided prior to starting your tour. Operation of a snowmobile is not difficult and most of our  guests become comfortable very quickly with the snowmobile.

 

Q: Will we go snowmobiling even if it’s cold and snowing?

A: Yes, due to the inherent nature of winter weather and snowmobiling, all tours will proceed on cold and snowy days.

 

Q: Is there a weight limit for the snowmobile?

A: Yes, 300 pounds total weight limit for each snowmobile.
